The Department of Islamic Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah was established by virtue of Emiri Decree No. (28) of 2008 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah - may God protect him - then Law No. (2) of 2010 was issued regarding the organization of the Department of Islamic Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah, which assigned it the task of advocacy and awareness work, and the care of mosques in the emirate. The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah seeks to inform people of the call of God Almighty with wisdom and good advice, facilitate the performance of congregational prayer rituals in mosques, and provide all services and facilities to enable the performance of the duty as it should be in an atmosphere of faith.
Establishing the correct religious approach and building mosques to support national belonging and identity.
We work to promote Islamic values and principles in society by spreading the teachings of the true religion and taking care of mosques.
